excellent terrace views, spacious bathroom, good storage space
The Wi-Fi connection was quite slow during peak evening hours!!! Open terrace offers no roof for shelter!!! Satellite TV lacks adequate English channel options!!! More pool shaded areas would enhance comfort on hot days!!!

The rooms offered are spotless and huge with 70's furniture painted all different colours, fridge, wardrobe. A bus station is minute walk from the hotel that is in a very quiet area.
Views are bad.

the staff - nice, friendly and helpful The location - 5' walk from Copacabana beach and from bus station to the old town nice views from certain rooms (but not great from some others...)
- In terms of equipment, it is quite behind other 4 stars and some 3 stars in the dubrovnik area (no washing machine, no dish washer...) - wifi signal is good but internet connection dropps litteraly every 5'' so cannot use it - the swimming pool is not a swimming pool. This is by far too small for that. - You can hear your neighbours whispering and depending on where your room is, the traffic from the road next to the hotel

Villa Antea was a very positive experience for us. The staff picked us up at the airport (for a small fee apx. €30). During the transfer the driver showed us some restaurants, supermarkets etc nearby. We stayed in a so called Studio apartment with enough space for us (two adults and one infant). Our Studio apartment was at first floor so the sea view was limited ( still there though) and we had a big terrace. Villa Antea has a nice pool at roof top and we also used a pool area at Valamar Club. At Villa Antea there was als free WIFI.
Studio apartments are not that big. For us there was no problem. But if you are travelling with older children you should probably consider a bigger apartment instead of studio.

The location is convenient, with regular bus services nearby, and a cute host providing helpful information. The accommodation featured a modern bathroom and a comfortable bed, ensuring a restful sleep. The rooftop pool offered a perfect retreat to unwind after sightseeing, complete with fine views. The room needed more attention to cleanliness, and some amenities like the ice box door were faulty, detracting from the overall experience. More shaded areas by the pool would enhance the comfort level during hot days.

Perfect Family Retreat with Amazing Views
The small pool offered fine views. Nearby Sunset Beach was a joy to walk to, and the seafood dining options were a culinary highlight. For easier outings, do consider using public transport to Old Town.

We were made to feel extremely welcome by helpful, attentive and friendly staff who greeted us with a welcome drink having personally collected us from the airport. They couldn't be more helpful and were the perfect hosts. The Villa was airconditioned, everything you needed including a large terrace which overlooked the beautiful Adriatic and bridge. The beach was accessible on foot as was the promenade with restaurants, shops and banks. The Number 6 bus stopped right outside and the city could be reached in 15 minutes and we were pleased to be a little out of the main city. Swimming in the pool overlooking the mountains and the sea was idyllic.
No - we'd recommend anyone to go there.

Villa Antea met and exceeded all our expectations on our first visit to Croatia - a very beautiful country of warm, friendly and helpfull people. At Villa Antea we were met by the vivacious and ever helpful Maja. We were made so welcome by chatting with her and sampling some very fine liquers made by the resident owner, this treat was offered to us many times as was a gift of two bottles when leaving. Maja filled us in on everything anyone would need to know - she was better than any guide book! Villa Antea is new, stylish, spotlessly clean and in a very safe location. The balcony offered a stunning view of sea and mountains. We suggest you avail of the ultra reliable pick up service. We can not recommend Villa Antea highly enough.
